ADULT MINISTRIES

Ladies’ Ministry

This ministry works faithfully to nurture women of all nations who walk through the doors of The Pentecostals of Peterborough to get into deeper relationship with God. The Lord made a place for women in the body of Jesus Christ, and it’s the goal of this ministry to ensure each woman is supported to take their place.

Women’s Bible Study

A one-hour Zoom call Bible study for women age 18+, that occurs biweekly on Thursdays, from September to May. This is an opportunity for women to build relationship and community with each other, and to feast on the Word of God together. Each session starts and ends with prayer. There are guest speakers who bring a brief word, and then the floor is opened for comments. Women on the call are encouraged to attend with their Bibles, to appear on camera, and to actively participate. Prayer requests are taken. We appreciate that all answered prayers are reported!

First Responders

Women age 12+ can expect to enter into an elegantly decorated oasis, with dynamic lessons, food and fellowship. Meetings occur once a month on Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of the church. The goal of this program is to empower and equip women with biblically sound and practical ways to be responsive and not reactive in life! Ladies’ Ministry leader, Tara, seeks to lend her experiences to strengthen women of God who are looking to go deeper. Participants are guaranteed to be challenged and changed.

Daughters of Zion

This is designed to be a Holy-Spirit filled, safe and supportive community for mothers. Birthed out of a vision given to Tanya to take a stand in prayer for children who have turned their back on God. The Bible warns us that we are to pray unceasingly and reminds us that prayer is our weapon. A seasoned prayer warrior, Tanya provides a brief message and supports mothers throughout the session to cover their children in prayer.  There are countless testimonies already of victories won in prayer that is related to the diligent prayers of these Daughters of Zion. Daughters of Zion meets in person, on the first Monday of every month in the fellowship hall of the church. All mothers are invited to attend for dedicated time of prayers and support.
